Our personal and professional lives have become digitised to such an extent that any tasks requiring something as basic and seemingly old-world like data entry can be frustrating and demotivating.

At some point, every employer will have to manage or submit expenses, whether that be substantial travel budgets or the occasional taxi fare or team lunch.

The time-honoured method of expense management involves the hoarding of receipts, aligning the expense with a calendar entry or possibly your own memory, then entering the relevant data on a spreadsheet or impenetrable online platform. At best this is a monthly process, possibly quarterly.
